On the way back this afternoon we booked a table for our evening meal at Memo which is on the other side of the river.

What a wonderful meal we had, especially as some of our other culinary experiences thus far have been forgettable. Each course was well executed, seasoned and had superb attention to detail. Textures, imaginative flavours and presentation all came together to give each course that wow factor. This really was Michelin star standard.

However, the meal would not have been the same had we not been chatting to Grace, wife of the chef. She was so charming and made our evening special. We’ll remember tonight for a long time….
